Hi all,
One day I discovered that the Artist named 'Usher' was listed under 'B' and not under 'U' as one would expect.
I have checked a number of players, and the error is consistent so it must be a server issue. The error was persistant for all albums from the artist 'Usher'.
I've used Mp3Tag to check for extended SORTORDER tags of any kind, but havn't found any.
Then I renamed the Artist and AlbumArtist to 'CUrsher', (just adding the letter 'C') and I renamed the folder to 'Test' and cleared the library and rescanned averything.
It then appeared under 'C' as expected!
The I renamed the the Artist and AlbumArtist back to 'Usher' leaving the folder name unchanged as 'Test' and rescanned the entire library - and it appears under 'B' again.....!!!
Why is this?
It drives med nuts!
Please anyone - do you have any ideas as to why this is happening?
