Please help me with Media Server permissions

Hello,

My logitech media server runs on Ubuntu & the process is owned by squeezeboxserver.

I placed the user squeezeboxserver in the groups : username & mythtv
username@username-HTPC:~/Music$ groups squeezeboxserver
squeezeboxserver : nogroup mythtv username

But, the LMS still doesn't see this directory or any where the permissions for "Other" are not set to rwx.
drwxrwx--- 2 mythtv mythtv 4096 Dec 27 12:44 Workingman's Dead [Bonus Tracks]

What am I doing wrong?
