I have been using my SB2 for several years now with the LMS (on a pretty high end MacBook Pros) and have pretty much always used default settings. I was wondering if there is an easy to read reference that might advise me how to tweak things to improve performance? Or if one of you who might be more expert could advise me in simple terms (I am not very technical ) how to best adjust my settings to improve performance?
I have a fairly high end Hi Fi system and listen to Classical, Jazz, etc. My sources of music are mainly:
- Apple Lossless Files stored on my MBP in iTunes
- Spotify at 320K
- Pandora
The only problems I have seen recently have been some occasional Buffering issues with Spotify (why is that) ... and that the LMS seems to drop out every couple days.
What are the best Player Audio Settings?
Should I be concerned that it states I do not have LAME installed??? Do I need LAME for my listening
Are there settings that I should change from DEFAULT in the Advanced Settings options? (e.g. . server priority is set for "current server priority".
